The last place I talked about was Spain and on that trip, I also went to Portugal, a country that would quickly become one of my favorite places in the world. A large chunk of my family is from Portugal and this was my chance to connect with where I come from. Today I am sharing the places I spent time in during my summer trip of 2018.

Portugal has so much to offer, delicious foods, beautiful villages, warm people, and so much more.

Spain and its Highlights

During this time of unknown and uncertainty, I’ve spent a lot of time the past few months looking through pictures I’ve taken of the places I’ve been. I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to travel a lot, and therefore I’ve seen some wonderful places in the beautiful world we live in. As things start to slowly get back to normal, travel will start to occur more frequently. Today I am going to share some of the places I’ve been and their highlights of places you must see when you visit. We are staring with my summer trip of 2018 to Spain and Portugal.

Things to Remember When Traveling/Planning a Trip

I have been so lucky to be able to travel as much as I do and over the years I have picked up a few tips and tricks that make traveling a whole lot smoother and a better experience for everyone involved. Traveling, no matter where you go, allows you to see the world in an entirely different light. What you see changes your perspective of the world and allows you to become an anthropologist and understand the people and the culture of where you are at. Enjoy these tips to make your adventures magical.

There is beauty everywhere you go…

As I have gotten older and seen more of the world, I have learned to see beauty in everything I see and do. There is a lot of ways to do this, and I am going to share those with you.

The most commonplace of beauty is nature. There is plenty of other beauty in the world, but once you realize that EVERYTHING is impacted by nature, you gain a sense of appreciation for all that nature has to offer. The more I started going on hikes, hanging out on the beach and watching the sunsets, I started to fall in love with the world I am living in. All I am saying is the more time you spend outside, the more you will appreciate what the world has to offer. The more time you spend in nature, the more you will understand its importance and beauty. This often could lead to a change in mindset in wanting to be more sustainable. The more time I have been with animals and plants, I have learned more about them and why nature is essential to out survive.

How do you know a place has good vibes?

Vibes are something one feels individually. One could vibe with something completely different than the other. When it comes to traveling you have a lot of choices and a lot of different ways to vibe.

  • The first step is trial and error. When you are in a new place try big cities versus little cities. Towns versus villages. There is a lot to choose from based on your time in the area. Do research. Look into where you’re going and use that to figure out what you find interesting. If it’s interesting to you, do it.
