If you’ve been here a while you would know that I have documented my Law of Attraction journey (here’s part 1, part 2, and part 3), and today marks “the end” of my journey. I’m using “the end” loosely because your LOA journey never ends and I will continue to use it, talk about it, and learn about it. “The end” in this case comes from actually seeing results. *Remember I am not trying to force this idea onto you, I am simply sharing what I have learned so you can learn too and possibly explore the LOA*
Let’s recap… LOA is one of the laws of the universe. The basis of it comes from the idea that you give out the energy you want to receive/will receive. For example, if my headspace is negative and I’m releasing negative energy, the universe is going to dish that negative energy right back (vice versa with positive energy). Manifestation plays a huge part in this journey (check out my LOA Pinterest board for more info here). You can visualize, write, meditate, create vision boards, and so many other things to fit with your LOA journey to create the life that you want.
What did I do?
I have practiced and tried various methods throughout the process and found what fits best for me. I tried meditation, journaling, vision boards, visualization, affirmations, and increasing my vibration. I use all of these methods besides meditation. For me, meditation is something that I do to raise my vibration (amongst other things) not to manifest.
Journaling for LOA is something that I’ve done more recently. I’ve always journaled, but not with the purpose of creating my dream life or getting things from the universe. I approach this in two ways 1) A notebook designated to keep track of my manifestations, affirmations, and other hippie things that are unrelated to LOA. In this notebook, I write out what I want as if I have it, how it makes me feel, etc. as well as writing affirmations that not only boost my vibration but also play a part in my manifestation process.
For example, let’s say I am manifesting a job. I would write out, with incredible detail and maybe even visuals, what I want the job to look like, how it will make me feel, and how it impacts my life as if it has already happened. Then, I will write affirmations such as “I am successful,” “I am abundant,” “I am happy,” and any other affirmations. I write out the same affirmations a few times and then say them to myself in a mirror or just out loud to put it out in the universe.
2) I use my standard journal to write out goals and document the results of my manifestations and how they make me feel/impact me. I will then turn those goals into inspiration a detailed manifestation in my manifestation notebook.
Vision boards/visualization go hand in hand with journaling for me. I use the goals written down to inspire my vision board. I take those goals and go on Pinterest (of course) to print pictures and put them on a bulletin board. You can also put your vision board/collage as a wallpaper to see it regularly. My main vision board is on my wall in my bedroom, but I have other collages on my desktop and binders that inspire me and make me happy (therefore using them to raise my vibration). The vision board helps me visualize. With this, I will sit on my floor, my bed, or in front of my vision board and visualize what I want. This is the moment where I have my deepest connection with the universe. It’s where I visualize what I want and ask the universe to bring it to me.
Lastly and one of the most important: raising my vibration. This is when I do things that make me feel good such as meditating, listening to good music, taking care of myself, and doing my best to radiate as much positive energy as I can. There are so many ways to go about this, but the most important thing is to remember that if you radiate negative energy the universe isn’t going to deliver on what you want.
What results did I see?
I’ve seen the LOA work in many ways. Sometimes it is simply me saying something to my family or my best friend and the next day it happens (of course this is a more minor manifestation). There are times in my journal where I need clarity on something or someone and I will achieve that clarity by that person or thing making the decision for me. This is complicated so let me give an example. Let’s say that I have a thing for someone, but I’m not one hundred percent sure I want something serious with them. When I’m writing this down in my journal (all of my feelings and concerns) and then ask for clarity, I will leave it be. It’s a mechanism that lets me get out my thoughts. In the next few days, as I stop dwelling, the person starts showing signs by either treating me a certain way or saying something to me and once those answers come to me I decide whether or not to pursue something with that individual.
Those were more minor things, but let’s talk about something major. I’ve managed to manifest a few people into my life, happiness into my life, and success in my life. I’ve brought people into my life such as crushes which manifested into a relationship. I manifested friends in my life whom I had lost contact with but still wanted them to be in my life. Since then they have been huge parts of my life and have made a positive impact on my growth.
I’ve manifested myself into finding happiness through all parts of my life by finding myself through various parts of my spirituality (astrology, LOA, and all of that fun stuff), by finding myself through travel, through my relationships, and beyond.
In terms of success, I found myself at my dream college, and here’s how I did that. I applied to five schools and got into four. For the months following the submission of my applications, I waited nervously from all five schools. I would ask the universe to grant me acceptance to my dream school, or what I thought was my dream school (Cal Poly SLO if you were wondering). Can you guess which school I didn’t get into? I was devastated. At the time I got waitlisted at the school, a few days before I got accepted to a school that I didn’t have a lot of interest in. Once I saw this acceptance (knowing I had a slim shot due to the acceptance rate), I was so proud. My mom and I cried out of sheer joy. At this point, I weighed ALL of my options. The school (not naming for privacy) wasn’t really on my radar. It was my third choice after SLO and UNLV. It was a better option than my bottom two but it hadn’t blown me away. Once I was aware of my four options, I took into account EVERYTHING. Now, here I am attending the college of my dreams all because I kept asking the universe to get me into my dream school.
What did I learn?
- You have to experiment with different methods, which means it takes time to find what feels right. Be patient and once you find your method/s it will be a breeze.
- Sometimes seeing the results you desire takes time and that is okay. Just be patient, continue on raising your vibration, and living your life as best you can.
- Once you’ve done your manifestation, let go of it. Don’t stress, obsess, or worry about it. This closes you off and prevents you from opening-up and receiving your manifestation. REMEMBER THIS ONE!!
- The universe is connected to all aspects of your life if you let it. It goes into parts of your life that you don’t even realize.
- Maintain balance. There are so many aspects of your life that make you feel down and/or wonky, so remember to try to stay balanced which will make it easier to stay positive and maintain a high vibration.
I hope you have learned from this, and have enjoyed hearing about my journey with LOA. Don’t forget to stay vibin!
